For me, writing is tiresome. The effort lies in the choices faced at every crossroad. Of course, you could let the thoughts just flow naturally, but the result might be too predictable. You have to actively work to take it down the unexpected route. When telling true stories, the difficulty is in writing what is not seen, uncovering what will make people think, remember and reflect. You have to swim against the stream of our lives with long and hard breaststrokes, like salmons going upstream, in the labyrinth of our knowledge, towards a higher and more essential goal: every single element of the world is there in our mind, ready to be grabbed at the right time.
